Chinese and the L Word - an arithmetic problem

L Word and Chinese food.
I had honey chicken, Meg had General Tso's. At least I think she did. It was something spicy.
Anyhoo...

Meg got my order right. That's 10 points right there.
The fact that Jenny is still alive on the show? minus 4.
Bette and Tina setting up office at The Planet takes us back up 2.
Shane is still with Jenny! Ack! Lose 10 points immediately!
yikes! we're in a the negative zone here...

Chicken: still warm. 6 points. Rice-kinda blah: subtract 3.
I'm pretty sure Shane is brushing her teeth without any toothpaste on that brush.
That should lose points but since it's Shane, I will give it a plus 2.
Bette and Tina out to dinner with Elizabeth Berkely and whoever that guy was supposed to be should have taken us down into the depths of a black hole no number could get us out of, but due to the HUGE bonus of Tina's ginormous plus 25 thanks-I-will-handle-this-myself performance, we rocket-ship up into a number we can finally take a breath, and relax a little.

My chicken really is good. I'm going to give it another 6 points. I don't know how Meg's was and I'm not even sure I thanked her for going to get it for us. But that just means I'm lame. I'm not going to make the dinner and tv show pay for that by deducting points.

The girls setting Dylan up is just unethical, really. Minus 6.
The fact that they are eating popcorn while voyeuristically spying on the entire charade? Put the 6 right back!
Dylan and Helena getting back together? I'm not sure. The entire evening between them - and I include the love-making scene here - felt akward, at best. No points gained but none taken away.

Jenny reading Shane's texts? Are you kidding me? Minus 5.
And now I suddenly like Nikki. I'm too embarrassed to give that any points.
It's me, not you.
Shane and Jenny having a weird argument in the middle of the dance floor started off gathering many points, but Shane backing off there... eh... gotta subtract 5 more points.

The Alice/Tasha/Third-wheel crush kinda feels like HBO's Big Love, which I love, so I'm going to give it 8 points. And no Bill in the middle of things is a nice bonus. Let's throw in 3 more, eh?

Alright, where are we?
...minus 3...carry the 1...26, 27, 28...
Okay, for Chinese and the L Word we have 35 points.
I have no idea what that means, but I am sure if someone were to analyze the data they would find that it somehow is affecting the economy.
